Here she is, in all of her Daemonic glory!
She was a true challenge, I had to pose and re-pose her many times before I was happy with the result. Getting the pose to look good in every direction was daunting task (& same goes for almost every single detail on her) Damn those Femmes are hard to deal with;)! But Im happy with the outcome and she is easily the best piece of conversion work I have done so far, so I hope you like her too.
Antennas? No, microscopic servoskulls ;) |
For what should I call her John?
Wow, spectacular work. It is a great work of art and it's not even painted yet
ReplyDeleteThank you Alexander! Can't wait to get to the painting stage! I'll make her red as BLOOOOOOOOD!!!!!
ReplyDeleteDuuuuuuuuude!
ReplyDeleteMy first immediate thought was "Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god"
ReplyDeleteWonderfully dynamic and full of menace!
Cheers
Dave
Wow... what are the bitz in here? :) Awesome character.
ReplyDeleteKiller pose!
ReplyDeleteTerrific! Beautiful and dangerous, perfectly captures the spirit of John's painting.
ReplyDeleteVery very nice Mikko. I look forward to the (red?) colours :)
ReplyDeleteyes its very very good indeed - i would be tempted to call her bathoriia because the original lizabett was so damned evil ......
ReplyDeleteRAWR! Bite me!
ReplyDeleteAwesome job!
This is coming along very nicely. Great work.
ReplyDeleteReally, really cool. Impressive conversion job and really close to Blanches original image.
ReplyDeleteHowever, there's something about the face that feels wierd (and not good wierd). The deathmask should jut out a couple of mm more from the hair - as it is now there doesn't seem to be room for a head beneath it...
the original is not a mask ....
ReplyDeleteI too saw her as true daemon, not as a person acting one.
Delete& Bathoriia sounds nice! She will bathe in blood like just like all true daemons do!;)
Thanks guys! She will be red as blood!
ReplyDeleteAnd she will mete out Red Death.
ReplyDeleteThat's freakin' AMAZING. I can't imagine how you got such teeny tiny detail on her because i know just putting together the regular wych models is a challenge. Congrats, man, that's awesome!
ReplyDeleteThanks J.D!
DeleteWhat an otherworldly looking model! I really like how distended the lower jaw looks, it really exudes a sinister look to an already creepy looking model. For including a lot of dark eldar parts, the model looks nothing like one, nor does it even call up such images in my head, a true triumph (I do love the DE models though!)
ReplyDeleteCheers!
DeleteSee that's the key - I will never let my self get restricted by the components - i make them my own, forcing them to fit my vision :)
(this model also has part from Ork Boyz sprue ;)
Where did the feet come from, I can see the metal, the platform the cut ankle, but the actual foot i can't place.
ReplyDeleteDamn that is just fine! The tiny servo skulls are great. But it those heels that do it for me.
ReplyDeletePDH
Stunning work. Very good job :) Your blog is on my follow list now ;)
