Nice. I'd change the bolter into something a bit less chunky though - it looks wery heavy when she's holding it with only one hand...
Vader has a point. Otherwise she looks terrific
well.. you both right in a way - Boltgun looks little heavy on her BUT what are the options? boltpistol - that's even too obvious so i try to avoid that. Laspistol would look too small. close combat weapon would not suit her style and no weapon a all would look strange too...So I gotta think this trough.. maybe I should scratchbuilt new bolter that would not bee too chunky...
Insane stuff as usual, rat-bro!If you're going to scratch build the gun, how 'bout making some sort of ancient side-arm - revolver or musket, something with wood in it - with something obvious to tie it to 40k?
That is one good option there! She is a high ranking Imperial official so im not sure if that kind of weapon should fit her? (boltgun beign the symbol of imperium & all) I also try to avoid that Steampunk feel that those revolvers got because it would be too fashionable & trendy;)Maybe i ad exoskeletal support system to her leftie to help with that heavy gun.. I also lowered the right arm and shortened the cane to make it look more traditional.
I say keep the boltgun. However, in order to address the concerns above (about it looking a bit bulky and heavy to be holding one handed), perhaps she could be carrying it slung instead? Or perhaps there's a sling attached to the bolter, which would allow her to use her shoulder to support some of the weight. Also, some sort of cane topper would be nice... otherwise my first thought was that she was some sort of pole-dancer (I've really got to get my mind out of the gutter...).
Sling is good idea, really giving it a thought at the moment.
An old school master built bolter would certanly be nice. However you're then one with model in front of you and the vision. So go with what feels right and don't overdo it :)
Cheers! I will certainly do just that :)
The pose of leaning on the cane is what does it. Says a lot about her determination to face her foes.
