The rascal got a wachy hair now, along with furry loin cloth, ragged shirt and some extra grenades. I'm thinking of either modding the Slaanesh symbol to represent =I= symbol and adding the character to my Inquisitor band, or starting an underground Slaaneshi INQ28/Confrontation gang... Which one do you think would be more interesting?

I think that a Slaaneshi band would be very interesting, so if you go with that I'd be very happy :)
ReplyDeleteEither way, great work so far!
Definitely the Slaaneshi band. They're pretty rare on the ground, what with most people opting for Khorne or Nurgle. Some nicely sensuous but deadly looking critters would look great and the Dark Eldar bits would really fit in with that aesthetic too.
ReplyDeleteAnother vote for a Slaanesh band!
ReplyDeleteSlaaneshi!
ReplyDeleteYou can borrow my slaaneshi renegade!
Huzzaah! Maybe next time you and we are visiting Notts, we'd be there at the same time?
DeleteSlaanesh warband, duh! Do add a character with some sort of sonic weapon, basically a human version of a Noise Marine!
ReplyDeleteThat Forgeworld Apostate Priest with the megaphones on a pole would work perfectly for that.
DeleteGood ideas, both of you. Sonic weapons are a must for Slaaneshi posse. That megaphone feller does have potential...
DeleteHmm, or what about a big brute carrying a Sonic Blaster like weapon, kinda like the Forgeworld Kakophoni? Perhaps use the plastic Nurgle Lords from WFB as a basis? A fat decadent figure carrying a huge sonic blaster...
DeleteYeah, that might work. I'm aiming for more grotesque Slaaneshi look with the band, so this kind of stuff is just what I'm looking for.
DeleteHmm, if you're going for the grotesque, you need to go all the way. You need some obese leader who sits on his throne, carried around by slaves. Perhaps some slave girls on his lap? (I remember the Asdrubael Vect kit came with slave girls). You could use the Epidemius or the Lizardmen Slann Priest as a basis. Kinda make him like a more Slaaneshi version of Guzman Ludd from the Kal Jericho graphic novel: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-3TsM6Ie6lMM/UF4JoyI5faI/AAAAAAAAAJ0/4heZHDebzQo/s1600/Guzman+Ludd.png
DeleteNice work on this guy so far, and Slaanesh for sure.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for your kind words, guys!
ReplyDeleteSo, Slaaneshi it is then. Good!
he looks so creepy with that smile, like he has some secret he ain't telling...
ReplyDeleteDefinitely slaanesh!
Very good work Kari!!!
ReplyDeleteSlaanesh cultist. Is perfect for this in my opinion :)
Cheers Mario! :)
DeleteI hope you don't mind, but I referred to your blog in my blog (www.miniature-studio.com) - happy new year! :)
