Task Force Pherion - Let The Hunt Begin!

Finally!

What can I say about this. Not completely satisfied about the paintjob but it's alright. The model became way too complex for my painting skills! I had lots of fun experimenting with W&N inks though ;)

The Hatching is now completed and I am ready to join Kari into Caterpillar phase. I can assure you guys that we have some wicked plans for that phase also!

  7. Very nice indeed. The gold is absolutely phenomenal what paint did you use for it. The green glow really adds to the facial area. The purity seals are a favourite the detail skulls and the =I= really look good with added paint. Brilliant.

The group as a whole are a thumbs up and I am sure you should match Kari model for model as you don't want Kari to have more resources than you in the campaign (also because I'd like to see more gw part conversions from you :-)

  8. Peter - whenever im painting metals, dark or bright, gold, bronze or silver ones
I always start with Mithril silver, because it has lots of shiny metallic particles in it. With the gold I went for the mithril first, then thin layer of burnished gold and finally a wash of dark brown ink.
While Kari secretly started to build his gunman I too must counter that.... so yes, You will see some more GW conversions from me soon ;)
